Artist Statement
I am an undergraduate student studying Graphic Design and Art Education. My career goal is to develop and implement a media arts curriculum for middle and high school students in Baltimore City. A multidisciplinary designer who works within digital fabrication, photography, and painting. I find inspiration through pop culture humor and the aesthetic of girlhood. I have a goal to design work that is inclusive, interactive, playful, educational and community base. I work within publication design, ui/ux, event design, and branding.
Philosophy
Design is a means for function, communication, and connection. It is not just a creative field it translates messages from industry to industry, and country to country. Design is art as functional practice and every good design comes from problem solving a visual literacy and communication issue.
Type Variation
Man in the Garden is a typographic exploration assignment, where I were to respond to a song of my choice, Man in The Garden typographically in 14 variations, only using 1 serif and 1 san-serif font without color or image. As the assignment expanded, image and color was introduced to the last two variations. As I got to my final set of variations, I was then assigned to translate my type solution into a poster and
magazine cover.

Publication
This Is What I Learned is a typographic publication based on Milton Glaser’s advice, developed through three key stages: graphic language, typesetting, and fabrication. Visually, I used the language of flowers to symbolize key ideas, along with a repeated purple that were color-graded into Glaser’s work to reflect sage and wisdom. I also translated his graphic elements into 3D forms to modernize the design and strengthen cohesion. Typographically, I justified the body text while shifting it within the grid to create movement across pages. Finally, I fabricated printed spreads with cutouts of Glaser’s work to enhance viewer interaction.

Mobile App Design
05/ WRLD is a social media concept app that stitches together my favorite features from social media apps such as Pinterest’s personally curated for you page, the simplicity of Instagram’s profile set up and Youtube’s long-form content videos. The app is ideal for creatives who want to curate an immersive visual digital world of their own design.

Publication
Soulaan is a magazine inspired by Black American publications that existed between the 1990s and the 2000s. Its conceptual purpose is to celebrate Black American hip-hop culture and the contributions of women within the subculture. Despite its design rooted in 90s design, the publication is modernized.

Event Design
This conceptual beauty-based event invites you to "Join us for a one-of-a-kind beauty experience at the Patapsco Flea Market on Friday, May 29th, 2026. Explore a vibrant selection of local beauty supply vendors, enjoy a stunning live hair show, and grab some delicious food while you’re there."
This event is inspired by Afrofuturism—a dynamic cultural aesthetic that blends Black heritage with elements of science fiction. More than just a theme, it’s a bold visual statement that reimagines and reclaims the future through our own lens.
